Arbitration & Litigation
We believe that embarking on an arbitration or litigation is generally an undesirable situation to be relied upon as a last resort, after all reasonable efforts are undertaken by the involved parties to reach a negotiated commercial settlement of their dispute. Toward that end, V&Co. can assess a client’s litigation position and strategy. Subsequently, V&Co. assists its clients with negotiation and mediation, in formulating settlement proposals and counterproposals, and in preparing for an eventual arbitration or litigation.
In the event that arbitration or litigation cannot be avoided, V&Co. can field a team of skilled litigators experienced in international arbitration as well as in appearing before courts in the United States, the Czech Republic and (with our colleagues in other jurisdictions) in other Central European jurisdictions.
